Creative Arts Trip to Boston: Join Our Adventure!

Americana Theatre Company Summer Internship for students in the Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts (BACA) at William Jessup University

This year our Creative Arts students are embarking on a life-changing adventure and they need your support to make this dream a reality.

The Creative Arts students are going to Plymouth Massachusetts for seven weeks this summer to join the Americana Theatre Company as Interns. ATC is a professional summer theatre that has run for the past five years bringing high-quality, professional theatre to audiences of the south shore of Massachusetts.

Students will be working with award winning directors as well as professional actors and theatre staff from New York and L.A. They will perform on stage as well as work in marketing, costumes, box office, back stage, stage management and a plethora of other roles and responsibilities in the theatre. One of our goals is to get the students to understand the inner-workings of a professional theatre company as well as give them professional networking opportunities.

Another unique benefit the students will receive is quality training during their stay in Plymouth. They will take classes from our professional staff, increasing their skill set and giving them the most up to date information and tools from actors that are currently working in the theatre and film business in New York and L.A.

The summer culminates with a trip to New York City where the students will get to see and work backstage on a Broadway Production, meet and work with Broadway personalities, and get a chance to audition for professional productions at a NYC casting call.
